... the sense of scent did not exist?

Humans has five senses. Sense of hearing, taste, touch and seeing and they are very necessary to live. Exist also one sense which actually we usually don’t pay attention, but is very important for human being- sense of scent.

For sure everybody remember smells from our childhood, this period is always the most intensive during our existence then we are a geniuses. Our imagination has no borders and the senses are strong than in the other level of our life. Popular writer Bruno Schulz wrote a short story ‘Cinnamon Shops’. It is based on memories of childhood of this artist. There he described how huge the child’s imagination can be. This story shows the shops and what is included there. Exotic stuff from all Asiatic countries and the unknown far places, spices, perfumes, aroma of paints and incense. Everything is link with sense of smell.
Nowadays also the scent is very important. Can you imagine when you eat something and you cannot smell this meal? Horrible! Usually thanks to it we fancy to try some dishes because of their incredible scent. Of course exist disadvantages of this aspect for example the spoil food, but come on! Then, we just have to throw it away and everything will be fine again.
Moreover the flowers, the citrus from the trees, and in general the nature is all about colors and smell. If the scent wouldn’t exist the bees would not pollinate and then on Earth would be nothing.
Now we can not skip the main thing what the topic is about, perfumes. For woman and man is important because it draws attention, but not only because of that. When I put perfumes on my clothes and I smell it my day is different, better. Once I watched ‘Scent of woman’ with Al Pacino and Chris O’Donnell as mains characters. This story talks about student Charlie who was looking after of blind men, retired cornel. This movie contains a lot of threads but one of them is scene when they sit with one women in the restaurant and the cornel guessed which cosmetics she used. Then is very famous tango dance. I love it. But for this example I wanted to show how important is scent for people who don’t see and even they can tell more about some person than normal person who is not disable. That’s why we should appreciate that have this possibility to smell.
So from now try to smell everything what is around you and enjoy it.
