Gill

Today let me introduce you to yet another sea monster. Is it part of Poseidon's underwater world or just an invention of the movie industry? Decide in the end!

The Gill is a quite scary creature that I personally wouldn't particularly want to meet. Its skin color is green and black and it's covered in fish scales. Its hands and feet are sharp claws that can rip anything apart. The eyes, pitch red with black pupils, glow in the dark. Four fangs enable it to kill its victims cruelly and fast.

The Gill, half-human, half-fish, a mutant of sorts, is a very adept swimmer of course. It can breathe and live underwater and on land but likes to hide in the dark mostly. So, how does it attack? Well, it captures its victims and immobilizes them and then kills them brutally by melting their skin. However, often it keeps its victims alive.

The Gill's hiding place is a remote area near to the water. It lures people in there and builds traps to later devour them. For many years people brought human sacrifices there to keep the creature satisfied and to not take innocent people. Finally, one hero took it in his hands to terminate the creature and capture it with a special golden net. Today the people don't have to fear the creature anymore.

Now it is your turn to decide: Greek mythology or movie creature?

Solution:
The creature I described is actually from the TV series "Kim Possible", true fans might have recognized the name and description. The creature was a normal boy once that was overexposed to toxic substances and turned into a mutation.
