This week you will discover a Swedish singer : The Glass Child. Charlotte Eriksson is a songwriter, singer and author. She is an inspiring artist, not only for her music, but for her entire spirit and life philosophy. She wants to prove to people that they can become whoever they want to be, even if it's hard and if it hurts.

At 18 years old she left Sweden to move to London to work on her music, on her art. She created her own publishing and distribution company named Broken Glass Records. She released 6 critically acclaimed Eps and 3 full-length albums in the pop genre (I’d Like To Remain A Mystery, 2013, I Must Be Gone and Live, or Stay and Die, 2014, and Under Northern Skies, 2016).

Her single “I will lead you home” reached the second place of the Swedish iTunes-chart. She was named “Breakthrough Indie Artist Of The Year” by Lemonade Magazine and has been played on major radios as BBC6 in the UK. She toured all over Europe.

She has spent the last 2 years in Germany, developing her craft as a songwriter and producer. She said about herself : “I wanted to turn my life into my art. My very existence into a poem. This is my story – it’s been a beautiful fight. It still is.”

The Glass Child will soon take part in the "Feels Like Home" Tour in the UK, together with Emma Buckley in September.
