Greyskull Chapel

This time's band of the week is something for the Rock-Fans amongst you: it is the Brazilian band "Greyskull Chapel".

“Greyskull Chapel” is the successor of "Pax" and was founded in 2013. The music they make is described as "alternative metal" and they say that they are influenced by common known bands like Mastodon, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.
The band's members are Arthur Zarpelon and Daniel Ribeiro, who sing and play the guitar, Douglas Oliveira, who is the drummer, and Thiago Veiga, who plays the bass.

The song you will now listen to is called "Lullaby" from the Album “Burden of Choice” from 2014 and as the title reveals, this song is a bit more quiet than what the band is usually known for.
The lyrics say that you do not have to care about tomorrow while sleeping, that you can let yourself go in your dreams and that “with time it will all dissipate”.
To escape from the daily problems and catastrophes, all the things you have to face again and again, the never ending pressure - that's what we wish to do every night when going to sleep. We dream away in our personal world of fantasy for those few valuable hours of inner peace while we sleep.
But the song tells in the last verse, “it's all over now [..] we rise at the break of dawn”. Every dream will be over some time and we have to get up, to face another day. But do not see it that negative – we rise at the break of dawn, we rise again every day as we always will stand up after a failure and always will get up in the morning to master another day in life.
So now dream away for a few minutes with “Lullaby” of our band of the week “Greyskull Chapel”.
