You think making marketable music for the masses and communicate a deep massage at the same time is impossible? Then you don't know our musician of the week. I am very happy to present you Wordsmith.

The rapper, songwriter and employer Wordsmith was born in 1980. He makes Hip-Hop music but is style is also influenced by different styles like Rock, Pop, Alternative, Indie or even Jazz music. . In his songs he has a strong motivational message and he wants to educate and entertain though a message of purpose. By making clean and quality music, which is free of profanity, he has overcome the negative stereotypes of the urban music genre. Also he wants to present his home city Baltimore.

Together with his LIVE Band to which also the drummer Kareem Thompson, the Bass guitarist Henry "Pep" Rose and the Manager and video and sound technician Dan Watcher belongs, he performs on national and international stages. But in general he appears at different places like clubs and bars, venues and theaters or conferences and festivals. For him one of the most important places to play concerts at schools and colleges where he combines his shows with anti-bullying lectures. Also in 2015 Wordsmith made a 19 day concert in oversea for the troops of the United States of America.

But Wordsmith is also an employer with his own entertainment brand NU Revolution which is home based in Baltimore Maryland. For him, the balance of music as art and business is constant and to be successful means to spend energies in both sectors. So he tries to have a lasting relationship in a professional way with his costumers and in a personally way with his fans. But also Wordsmith looks after his community and makes charitable contributions for example for a Project which helps homeless people in Baltimore and give them feed and gifts.

With his style Wordsmith is very successful and has licensed more than 30 of his songs for films, video games or advertisement and he earned the ACAPLUS award four times. Today you will hear the song Fill the Space which was published in 2017.
