Chimaera

Today it`s time for another round of „creatures from Hella`s“ where you guess in the end wether it is a creature from Hellas or not. So read careful the following describtion of this weeks creature.

Chimaera is a fire-spitting monster whos body is composite out of three diffrent animals. The translation of the name Chimaera is goat. So she has a goat body with a lion head and last but not least the most scary thing about her is her dragon`s tail. That makes her whole appearance very creepy. But it´s not only her appearance which is scary whoever comes to close to her gets killed by her and will be her next dish.

Her habitat is the rugged ground of a mountain. Flames are coming out of this ground and making it impossible to kill her. This beast lives safe in her habitat and only leaves this protection to get some food which means to kill some more people. The only way to beat her is from the air but also that is pretty hard because of her hypervigilance and her possebility to spill fire.

If you are now wondering how a creature like this arised Chimaera is the daughter of two other monster. Her mother is half a good looking girl and half a horrible snake. Her father is a giant with hundrets of dragon heads. Also Chimaeras siblings are extremly scary. One of her siblings is a many-haeded snake, the other one a many-headed dog and her third sibling is the demon of destruction and mischief.

Today Chimaera has still a meaning but now in genetics. Chimera is an organism which is compound of diffrent genetic cells but still a uniform individual. For the genetic Chimera it doesn´t matter if the cells are from diffrent species they just have to be one unifrom individual in the end.
