The Laevorno is a creature that has never been seen directly but only its shadow. That’s why it often is described as the creature that lives in the shadow. It is extremely fast some may say it can move as fast as light and therefore can make the impression that it is at different points at the same time. According to some stories, the Laevorno has an eagle-like beak with which it hunts for its prey.

It only hunts in dark places and at night and abducts its prey into darkness what happens to it is not known but there have never been any leftovers the whole prey disappeared without any trace.

Also, the Laevorno doesn’t make any noises and doesn’t leave any traces. The only way to realize that it is near is that everything gets completely dark and no more surrounding sounds can be heard.

It is said though, that normal people don’t need to fear it because it only hunts souls that escaped the realm of the dead and refuse to go back, so the Laevorno gets sent to bring them back.
