Fafnir

Fafnir is a dragon who lives in a big dark cave. But he wasn`t always a dragon his acquisitive frenzy let him become one. Fafnir was born as a strong and healthy boy. One day his father gained a treasure full of gold and one special ring. Very happy about his new wealth he wasn`t planning to share it with his son. This made Fafnir angry and his anger made him kill his own father. To protect the treasure well from everyone else, Fafnir moved into a cave. Over the years the treasure made him become sick. The ring of the treasure was occupied with a curse. Because of this curse he developed into in terrible toxic dragon who still lieved alone in his cave well protecting his treasure. But as always gold makes other people jealous. To steal the treasure a young man created a ruse to cheat the dragon. He knew that Fafnir went to the river to drink from it every day. In this route he excavated holes. Fafnir not expecting anything felt into one of the holes and died in his own blood. The man took the treasure including the ring with the curse. So the creature of a dragon like Fafnir is a never ending story. It will only stop if people stop getting fascinated by gold and the wealth that is related to it. So the circulation basically reflects the human character trait to always want more money even though it might bring bad things with it. It shows the greed of human beings.
