Thoteus

We are able to feel if something is scary. It is a way of self protection to circumvent those things, but sometimes there is no alternative. Most people feel scared in a dark forest and there is a reason for it. The reason is this weeks creature of HELLas Thoteus. So read carefully the following introduction to guess in the end weather Thoteus is a creature of HELLas or not.

As I already mentioned Thoteus lives in the darkness of the forest. He always stays in the shadow because the sun burns his skin. His skin is pitch black and highly sensitive. If light shines on him, he developes painful green blisters which make him look even more frightending. Because of this sensitivity to light it is almost impossible to find Thoteus because he hides himself very well in the shadows. And that makes him so dangerous. He surprises you with his attack out of the darkness. His preferred hunting time is of course at night because then the chances are lower that he accidentally comes into the sunlight. But in the very dark parts of the forest, he can also hunt during the day. So be careful while walking through the dark part of the forest. Because if Thoteus attackes you you are lost! He wont let you go anymore. There is no chance to flee because he hangs on to you with his sharp claws and then he slowly slowly starts to kill you. Human blood is his nourishment, it is the only thing that keeps him alive. This is also where his skin color comes from. Only drinking blood and staying in the shadow all the time results the black skin tone. The only good thing is that he can only attack one person at a time. So I advise you to enter forests always in groups, especially at night because then the chances are higher that you will be able to flee. Also if you have to enter a forest take always a light with you this will scare Thoteus and can protect you. But the safest thing for sure is to circumvent dark forests in generall.
