Pagalos

This week I want to introduce to you a very special creature from HELLas: Pagalos

Even though it is unclear if this is the true name of the creature, it is the name I have come along during the research for this article, so I will stick to it. In contrast to many beasts, Pagalos lives on this planet for less than 100 years now. As Pagalos has feathers in different shades of colours, it blends in with the environment and it is really hard to see. Nevertheless, the frightening sounds it produces are evidence enough for the existence of Pagalos. When you pass by the Pagalos’ hiding place, there is no chance to escape without being seen by it. In order to chase you away, Pagalos will start shrieking and it will seem like the sounds come out of nowhere. If you are not prepared for the shrieking, the sound can almost frighten you to death. However, there is no recorded case for someone being killed by Pagalos and its shrieking yet. Nevertheless, as I already heard the sounds this creature produces, I can only recommend you to stay away from it. From what I heard, most of the time Pagalos lives close to the sea in small towns or villages and preferably spends time next to busy streets. So, in case you have to pass at such a place, try to be prepared to encounter Pagalos and avoid freaking out as this is dangerous on the street and can cause serious accidents!
