Chocolate-Coconut-Cake

My dear friends of good food, today I will present you one of the most delicious sweets I've ever tasted. It is actually a cake rolled in  liquid chocolate and coconut flakes. Sounds heavy, but I promise that you feel very delighted after eating!


What you need for the cake:

50 g      Butter
250 g    Sugar
250 ml  Milk
2           Egg yolks (the yellow of the egg)
1           Package of baking powder
1           Package of vanilla sugar


What you need for the chocolate covering:

250 ml    Milk
250 g     Sugar
150 g     Butter
100 g     Chocolate
400 g     Coconut flakes


Now you have to put all the cake ingredients together and mix them to a creamy mass. Pour it into a  greased baking form and send it into the oven for about 40-45 minutes at 200° to get a nice sunny and brown teint.

After that cut it into pieces.

Now you have the pleasure to melt the milk, butter, sugar and chocolate in a pot.

You can't wait any longer? Me neither! So therefore comes here the final step. Dip the pieces in the chocolate and roll them in the coconut flakes.
