Tyler Gelrud and Attila Yavuzer, the two members of the band are creating an alternative Duo.

They have a quite romantic history. After years of playing in alternative bands, California native Tyler Gelrud took a break from the band scene to travel and focus on songwriting. After months away from home, Tyler was inspired to create a new music project under the name Lyonn. During his time in Tennessee, Tyler met with fellow songwriter/producer Attila Yavuzer.

Attila served Tyler at his restaurant and they hit it off really well. The night after Attila was walking around and bumped into Tyler again and they went out and got a few drinks. It came up that both do music, so Attila showed Tyler a rough, instrumental cut of Shining Eyes and they worked from there. So the two Musicians quickly started creating music together, and Lyonn formed into a duo. Influenced by their travels and personal experiences, Lyonn uses cinematic themes and thoughtful lyrics to pave a new way in the realm of alternative music.

And also Jamendo is in love with the band and says “Lyonn gracefully returnes and makes the stars shine brighter with a new EP entitled "We’ll Light The Sky", showcasing a variety of magnificent pop orchestrations, very different from each other but somehow very coherent, brought together by Tyler’s absolutely soaring vocals.” There is a creative passion that just beams off these guys' collaborative song writing and artistic vision.
