Steady Hussle

Uncertainties about the intensity of the emotions of the partner, the disappointment after a separation of ways of a short time couple, the thought to be left behind after a hot, smoochy summer, but also optimism and the fight for a beloved one are main topics of the artistic work of this musician.

Sounds pretty cheesy and melancholic? Don’t worry, even if you are not a fan of deep and heartbreaking sentiments, “Steady Hussle” will catch you. His Alternative Rock convinces with a variety of melodies and tempos and surely: once in your head you probably can’t stop lilting his captivating lyrics anymore.
The 21 year-old Joey Mossman is doing a very good one-man-job while playing deep, punk and hard guitar riffs, using energizing drums and creating rather soft pop tones with his special voice.

Our artist of the week has his origins in the small town Holland Landing, Ontario.
Always interested in music and instruments, he started his actual professional work as musician in 2009, when he succeeded to be part of the Toronto music scene.  His gigs and jams are performed in different locations and a variety of events. “Steady Hussle” was e.g. in “Smiling Buddha” (Toronto), or at the PanAm torch relay.

In the beginning of 2015, his first EP “Copacetic” was released on iTunes, but it is also available on SoundCloud and Jamendo for free.
And we promise you: the songs from this EP stick to its title and Joey Mossman will most likely become part of the soundtrack of your summer. Maybe, this music will even guide you through one or another romance – hopefully with Happy End!
