The Easton Ellises

Here we go with our new Band of the week! This time I have some uplifting rock tunes of the Band The Easton Ellises for you. The Easton Ellises are an emerging dance-rock 4 man band from Montreal, Canada.

The founding Easton Ellises duo, Alex D and Simon Roy started as the synthesizer duo Stereomovers. They have been making music together for the past fifteen years, playing with many different bands going from psychedelic music to punk-rock, experimental to progressive house. After being really succesfull as the duo Stereomovers, they decided to take their musical ambitions to another level. Thats how The Easton Ellises were founded in September 2011 with Luc Dallaire and Gérald Pau as two additional band members. This new project takes an alternative road by going the way of open collaboration, sharing and a creative commons music model.

Their modern, energetic songs are a combination of rock and electronic music which they call Dance-Rock. The pumping musical energy comes from their underground electronic music experience and its blended with a touch of rock mastered in the studio.

Obviously The Easton Ellises are on the right way with this, because in 2013 their song "So Good Inside" has been selected for the Coca Cola's campaign 52 doses of happiness.

They claim on their official band web page the easton ellises.com: „Not much more to say other than The Easton Ellises is a new story that has just started to be written.“

So see for yourself which kind of story that will be and enjoy their song „Falcon 69“.
