The Comic

Many people today know what a comic is, but few know how it was born; if you want to discover it, you can read this article!
It was in 1895 one day like many others, but for this writer that lived in an island in Greece something was about to change...

Tired of writing only with words, he decided to draw little scenes and write a short story under them.
So,the next day, he watches out of the window, and draws all, that he sees.
Here is a man, reading the newspaper and another, that drinks a coffee. He continues to draw all that he sees for all day.
Before going to bed he thought what he did was awesome because now also who doesn't know to read, ( like the children and the old people) can learn it thanks to the images and to the short story.
In the next days he makes many books with the short story, but now he has his house full of books. This is a problem because he doesn't know what to do with all the books. There are many in the drawers, and even in the fridge!
Bored of this situation, the writer takes some books and throws them out and sits near to the door and wonders how to discard them.
He didn't know that a little later he would become more lucky in the world.
One kid walked with its ice cream and saw all the books that occupied the road, and, without thinking, took one. The writer saw the kid laughing happy for a long time, and thought to start distributing them asking for a small offer.
Since that moment, our Greek writer with his comics is very popular in all the world until today.
