Alkyoneus

The impressive creature I am going to present you in the following is called Alcyoneus.
It is a very big creature, about twenty meters tall, putting approximately sixty tons of weight on the scale.

Alcyoneus, same as other of his species, was not fathered in a common way.
A really mighty person got castrated thus the blood and sperm incidentally impregnated another mighty person.

Manticore

Today we will present you a creature most of you probably have never heard of, even though it has often been depicted in modern novels etc., such as J.K. Rowlings ‘Harry Potter’ series, ‘The last unicorn’, which has been made into a popular animation movie, and in the second novel of the ‘Deptford Trilogy’. Our creature has even more appearances in role-playing and video games, such as Dungeons and Dragons. I'm talking about the manticore.

Werewolf

For sure everybody of you knows the frightening werewolf creature, at least from Harry Potter or the famous werewolf group game. Also the people in ancient Greece gave him their own name: The lykanthropos (from lykos=wolf, anthropos=man). But was this creature “invented” in ancient Hellas as well?
