Pitios
Pitios is located in the middle of the road connecting the highway Chios - Volissos (at the 21st kilometer) and the highway Chios - Kardamyla (20th kilometer). This small village belongs to the municipality of Kardamyla and it is mainly inhabited by cattle raisers and a few farmers.
Pyrgi
Pyrgi is the largest of the villages in Mastichochoria (southern part of Chios where the mastic is produced).
Sidirounta
The village of Sidirounta (also called Siderounta) is located in the Northwest of Chios, 37 kilometers from its capital on the top of a cliff, with a panoramic view over the west coast of Chios and the Aegean sea.
Sikiada
The small village of Sikiada is located on a hill close to the sea, 15 kilometers North from the city of Chios, with its own village as port, namely Pantoukios.
Thimiana
Thimiana lies seven kilometers south from the citFy of Chios, past Kambos. It has approximately 1600 inhabitants, therefore being one of the largest settlements of Chios.
Tholopotami
The village of Tholopotami is located in the South of Chios, 12 kilometers from the city of Chios and situated on the vegetated hill Profitis Ilias (“Prophet Ilias”).
